I was attempting to fold laundry today. Since my nose wouldn't stop running (and who wants snot on their clean clothes), I had to improvise. This was my solution. Don't knock it until you've tried it! :)
Thankfully, Ben came to my rescue and helped me with the challenge. Can you see him in the background?
The sickness that was once in my throat has now moved north...my nose, forehead, sinuses, and ears are all plugged and/or stuffed. Good times.

Oh, Anne...that's the worst!! I don't know what's worse though, a "can't breathe" stuffy nose or a "faucet style" runny nose??
My suggestion for nighttime...other than being heavily medicated, breath right strips. They are AWESOME!!! I'm congested my entire pregnancy and they are amazing.
hope you feel better soon
thanks for the suggestion about the fabric. I'm hooked on amy butler already.
These pictures are cracking me up!! I don't know if you are still stuffy, but the BEST thing that I have ever used for a stuffy nose is Afrin Nasal Spray and some Claritin D. Afrin usually works within 5 minutes and lasts for about 12 hours. Be very careful not to over use, you can become dependent on it :)
the great thing about this is i actually have tried that too
Oh! I used to have student who would do this in class! She also found it essential in order to get her in-class writing done... Hope you feel better soon. I feel your pain (sort of). I'm on week three of the worst cough I've EVER had...
