As a April Fool's, one of my students came up to me just now and got down on one knee. He proposed and even opened up a ring box. Cute, right?!?! Yeah, until he muttered the following - then it just got awkward.
Student: "Mrs. Simmons, you could have 2 husbands. You know...just think outside of the pants."
What? I'm confused and repulsed...all at the same time.
Oh, and I did not accept the proposal. :)

Oh wow. His dad must've put him up to it. You think? yeah, no way did he think of it all on his own. Or maybe...I'm speechless. Really. I am. :)
(My sis is also a teacher. She told me one of her students told her her hair looked amazing today...the best he'd ever seen it and then said April Fools after she thanked him... ha ha)
